My Hobbies
January 13, 2010

I’m learning to crochet! I saw the cutest little baby hat on etsy that I wanted to buy and I thought, hmm I should learn to crochet!! Jared said he doesn’t think I need any more hobbies… and then he took me to Joanns to buy a hook and yarn! 🙂 So me and Jaidan have been watching ‘how to’ videos on youtube!

This picture is of my very loose ‘chain stitch’ (while holding a wiggly baby) and I tried to go into ‘slip stitch’ which is where I got lost … but I’m so excited to learn it!!

I also entered the DIGITAL world of scrapbooking! I NEVER thought I would convert, but I have. And I Love it! I downloaded digital scrapbook artist. There are a lot of free ‘kits’ that you can download that come with diff backgrounds/ embellishments/ materials/ brushes… it’s cool. And the ones you pay for are only $5 for a big kit. That’s a lot less than if you bought them for regular scrapbooking & you can use them over and over. You can also scan in your own stickers/ embellishments/ receipts/ programs. I understand how it seems there would be a lack of creativity, but there really isnt. This program is so versatile! I give it an A+. Yay
