24 days into the month. Still not ahead. Still haven’t funded all of March. The most awesome thing is that God is taking care of it. We don’t see it and we don’t know how, but I’m 100% sure He is on top of it.
It’s kind of reassuring to know that not every month will be ideal &/or perfect. This has been an interesting month to me because we were not expected to have anything extra coming in towards debt and we actually had quite a bit come in. (Numbers will come later)
Life also happened… we got charged $2.75 for late fees at the library, we currently have $5.00 left for gas for the rest of the month… and it doesn’t help that I keep waking up late and missing the bus and not being able to get a ride so I have to drive myself. Today Jared had to reschedule his meeting since he had no vehicle. OH! Also, we lost… yes LOST our clothing envelope. :/ It has $40 in it & is nowhere to be found. I ‘think’ the last time I saw it was in the seat in the truck. I don’t want to say that someone walked by our truck and got it out because that sounds ridiculous, but thats the last time I saw it. I have 5 pair of pants that I was going to take this week to get hemmed up with that $. Now I will be waiting for next month & hoping for our envelope to reappear.
These are just a few minor things that happen in life. Hope is not lost. We are still climbing!! I keep being reminded of what Dave says… that you can’t dig yourself out of a whole, you have to climb your way out. So we are using our armour of God to get around the minor things that are thrown at us and just keep climbing!
Garage sale is this weekend!
I also have 2 photo shoots.
Amanda’s Bridal Shower is Sunday.
Yes, I’m a little crazy for scheduling all of this at once. 🙂
Month #6 of FPU and I’m still on fire. I have plans & our debt is not getting in the way of that.
“My son, if you have become surety for your friend, if you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger, you are snared by the words of your mouth; you are taken by the words of your mouth.
So do this, my son, and deliver yourself; for you have come into the hand of your friend: go and humble yourself; plead with your friend.
Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.
Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, and like a bird from the hand of a prowler.”
-Proverbs 6:1-5
