And a very Merry Christmas! 🙂 This was our first year to start some new traditions!
Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Baby Jesus, Happy Birthday to you!
It was our first Christmas with our baby boy & our first Christmas that we’ve stayed at our own house & the first Christmas that it snowed! I didn’t know what we were missing, but the snow was so pretty! Christmas eve we went to Jared’s grandmas house (MawMaw’s) with his moms side of the family.
Then we went to my moms house to celebrate with Johnny’s sister, husband, & their kids. I actually didn’t get a picture of everyone, but my sister did. 🙁 I’ll have to get a copy from her.
We did our secret santa’s and went home to sleep!
Christmas morning we woke up around 9am. We saw that there was still snow on the ground & it wasn’t as windy so we took the boy outside for some SNOW PICTURES!
We couldn’t stay outside very long before his little ears and fingers were freezing. At one point he stuck his hand in the snow and started crying… I’m assuming because it was so cold. It made for some really cute pictures though!
10:00 Jaidan went down for his nap- while he did that me and Jared ate breakfast (sausage biscuits and gravy) and read the Christmas story from the bible. We prayed & listened to the Happy Birthday Jesus song. 🙂 We thanked God for His son, and we thanked Him for our salvation. (The obvious things to pray for, but still so important!) I am so blessed to have Jesus as my Saviour! Christmas is such a magical time & I love it! We got ready and went to my moms house at 1:00.
We left my moms house at 4:30 to be at Jared’s sisters house for his dads side of the family Christmas by 5:00. Jaidan got some cute peek-a-boo blocks from Papa… I’m showing them off while Jaidan eats his new shirt!
Here are all of the grandkids. Jaidan makes #7! And look at Colton… he’s the one holding Jaidan. He has like 1 finger on him! haha
We left Alexis’ house about 7:15, for yet ANOTHER stop! On to my dads house! whew! We were exhausted by the time we got home at 11pm. Next year we are considering everyone just stopping by at our house if they want to see us. Jaidan screamed everytime he got in the car to go to another place. His schedule was just all messed up. Poor baby. Here he is with ‘grandpa’, cozy, and waiting for bedtime. And in the green night dress is Brandi, my little sister. She insists on calling Jaidan her cousin- even though she knows she is the ‘aunt’. LoL.
Since we had such a busy day we actually didnt open our presents from eachother until the following morning…
It was one of the best Christmas’ ever since we had our little boy to celebrate with! What a blessing! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas also!
