Week of Winter
February 4, 2011

Well it’s February and our snow is right on time! We can always expect at least 1 snow day away from work/school. Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday we had ice & we wake up this morning to snow! The whole metroplex has pretty much been shut down all week! Okay maybe not but I haven’t left the house in 4 days.

We have not gone stir crazy yet, but I do need to run to the bank, post office, Target, Walgreens, & to Jared’s grandma’s house. Oh well, at least the weekend is supposed to be nice. We went outside in the snow for a few minutes, but the kids nose was too runny.

So serious!

There’s the smiles!

I’ve almost finished 2 shutterfly books! I just have to do December ’09 and the background pages. Then I’ll be caught up to 2010! I make between 3-4 books per year and I’m always about a year behind. I was a little more behind from my time spent on Jaidans 1st year book.

I made 2 big pots of soup that we’ve been enjoying too. Taco soup & broccoli cheese soup. SOOO yummy. I don’t know what it is about the cold that makes me want to eat. The colder it is the more I eat. I guess it keeps me warm. Oh well, I love food so it’s not a problem!

Oooh earlier today we got out a new puzzle from Christmas to play with & we needed some batteries. I was so excited to go to our stockpile (yes, these things are exciting for me) & get out the free batteries I got from Target. They were in the dollar bins, ya know, and we had $1 off coupons making them free! Scorage pourage!

Don’t they fit nicely in this wipes container?

We let the little guy play with stickers earlier too. Here is his creation:

Well, napping is underway and I think I will finish my shutterfly with some thin mints. 🙂
