Well, ready for a pregnancy update?!!?
Week 13:
I didn’t take a picture this week. I’m still yuck and I really just had no motivation to do much of anything.
Week 14:
I’m still feeling yuck so I’m looking kinda gross but I feel bad that I keep missing belly pictures so this is what you get. Jaidan cracks me up that he wants to put his hand on my belly for the picture. And soooo sweet. I love my little helper.
Week 15:
This was at the end of 15 weeks but I just can’t bring myself to look presentable for a picture every day so I have to grab it when I can. I just got my hair done too so I was feeling a little better.
Week 16:
Well no picture this week. Not sure why… maybe all my energy has been into Christmas stuff. I’m still not 100% by any means. Just blah and random throwing up. It takes a lot for me to even get dressed in anything that looks presentable because I just want to lay around. My constant thought has been that I’m ready to feel normal again.
Week 17:
No belly picture this week either because I was busy taking care of my boys while they were doing this…
The yuckies caught our house big time!! Jared had the flu with fever and body aches & Jaidan had a fever and stomach bug. He threw up for 48 hours, sometimes throwing up his water every 30 mins-1hr. I still didn’t feel good (pregnancy wise) & I was having to do everything and it was basically awful. I think after Jaidan’s stomach bug he got the flu too. He was pitiful. It was a horrible week. I did manage to get up enough energy to make a huge pot of chicken vegetable soup. It was SOOO delish too.
Week 18:
I started feeling more flutters/movement towards the end of last week. 🙂 That has made me feel much more ‘connected’ and I’m also feeling a lot better. Still random throwing up in the morning from my crazy gag reflex.
We had our 2nd prenatal appt with our midwife this week! Babys heartbeat was 144bpm. She measured me at 21-23 weeks but obviously we know for sure that I’m only 18 weeks and 3 days. Not sure what that’s about but I can tell I’m bigger than the last time around. I imagine it’s because I’m still stretched out a bit.
19 Weeks:
I threw up for a week straight in the mornings and now I’m FINALLY DONE with the nausea!! Completely!! And if it’s not one thing it’s another because the relaxin hormone has really kicked in and my lower back/upper butt area wants to completely separate from itself. I went through physical therapy my whole pregnancy with Jaidan so this is definitely not new. No more picking up Jaidan or heavy things or sitting indian style on the floor (that’s where I got stuck the first time). Doing pelvic tilts, heat wraps and the chiropractor has helped tremendously!! (Along with not irritating it by doing the above things) AND I’m LOVING all the little movements I’m feeling from this baby!! Baby is super low when I feel it move.
Maybe now that I’m feeling MUCH better I can update a little more regularly. 🙂
