Seeing things differently
June 28, 2011

Me and Jared have been going back and forth about Jaidan being forward vs. rear facing. Of course you google it and everything is in favor for extended rear facing. Rachel-1, Jared-0. 🙂

Jaidan is 5 weeks away from being 2 years old, 25lbs & 31 1/4″.

Jared’s argument on wanting him forward facing is 1.) inconvenience 2.) It’s always a struggle (pictures to explain) and 3.) Jared thinks he will get heat exhaustion.

Our truck is not very accommodating for ANY car seat so that just stinks all together. It makes it worse when you have to fold him up to put him in the seat. And then of course he holds on to the top of the truck with all his might, fighting Jared.

So we did turn him around and he was all smiles as he is seeing things differently…

We are thinking of turning him back around though because it is supposed to be much safer! We can get a little clip on fan to see if that gives him more air.
